Home Loan Application Checklist
Collect this information and provide it to your loan officer for a quick and smooth loan approval.
Personal:- Present address and previous addresses for a minimum of two years.
- Employment history for two years (name and address of employer) or if income is substantially derived from commissions, include the past two years' tax returns, as well as a year to date profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
- copy of Social Security Card for each applicant or co-applicant.
- If either applicant is divorced, a copy of Divorce Decree.
- Copy of a recent pay stub from present job.
- Copy of W-2 Statements on all accounts that have a balance.
Financial:- Name, address, account number and balance for all checking and savings, CD's, Money Market Funds, etc.
- Amount and verification of other income (rental, pension, child support).
- Liabilities (any type of installment debt). Supply a list with name, mailing address, account number, monthly payment, and balance.
Miscellaneous:- Copy of the purchase contract and amendment to contract if applicable.
- Cashiers check or check to pay for Credit Report and Appraisal Fee.
- If applying for a VA loan, Certificate of Eligibility and DD214.
